Vucic to meet with EU officials, attend dinner hosted by Costa

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will be on a one-day visit to Brussels on Tuesday for separate meetings with EU officials, the presidential press office has announced.

He will meet with EU foreign policy and security chief Kaja Kallas, head of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Gert Jan Koopman, Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos and European Council President Antonio Costa.

Vucic will also attend a dinner hosted by Costa for Western Balkan leaders.

At the end of last week, a source in Costa's office told Tanjug one of the goals of the meeting was to lend a new impetus to relations with the region and prepare for a December 18 EU-Western Balkans summit.
