Vucic congratulates Kickl on mandate to form new Austrian government

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has congratulated Freedom Party of Austria leader Herbert Kickl on receiving the mandate to form the new Austrian government, with a wish that, in these challenging times, he would "successfully perform the responsible, difficult and honorable duty of Chancellor."

"I am convinced that we will continue to develop the good relations between Serbia and Austria, which are based on mutual respect and trust, and in Serbia you will always have a reliable partner for cooperation and constructive dialogue," Vucic wrote in a post on X on Monday evening.
