SHANGHAI - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic met with Chinese Communist Party Secretary of Shanghai Chen Jining on Monday.
Vucevic said he was very honoured Serbia was again participating in the China International Import Expo in Shanghai, launched in 2018 at the initiative of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
"This is the largest import expo in PR China, which brings together companies from around the world that want to present themselves in the Chinese market, and Serbia will have its national pavilion showcasing our businesses," Vucevic wrote in an Instagram post.
Vucevic also noted that it was very important that, in addition to existing flights to China, Serbian national airline Air Serbia would launch a new service between Belgrade and Shanghai in January, and added that this would have a positive effect on further Sino-Serbian cooperation.
"We agreed to work constantly on advancement of our relations and cooperation in the economy, education and sports with a view to strengthening our steely friendship," Vucevic noted.
On Sunday, Vucevic visited the Chinese company Mint, known for its innovations and commitment to sustainable development.
