PRISTINA - KFOR Commander Maj Gen Enrico Barduani met with Italian Deputy PM and FM Antonio Tajani at the KFOR Headquarters in Camp Film City in Pristina on Monday.
"General Barduani briefed Minister Tajani on ongoing activities and the security situation, emphasising Italy’s significant contribution to KFOR, comprising 20 pct of the total force, including leadership and operational units," KFOR said in a statement on its official Facebook account.
"Minister Tajani then addressed the Italian Contingent, highlighting KFOR's vital role in maintaining stability in the Balkans, a key priority for Italy and the EU.
He concluded by commending the Italian personnel for upholding the highest standards of justice, legality, and respect for human dignity," it also said.
