RIGA - The Serbia men's national basketball team was on Thursday drawn to play Latvia, Turkey, Czechia, Estonia and Portugal in EuroBasket 2025 Group A in Riga, Latvia.
The championship will be co-hosted by Cyprus, Finland, Poland and Latvia from August 27 through September 14.
The draw ceremony was held in Riga.
The groups are:
Group A (Riga): Serbia, Latvia, Turkey, Czechia, Estonia, Portugal
Group B (Tampere): Germany, Lithuania, Montenegro, Finland, Great Britain, Sweden
Group C (Limassol): Spain, Greece, Italy, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus
Group D (Katowice): France, Slovenia, Poland, Israel, Belgium, Iceland
The four best teams from each group will advance to the knock-out stage, to be played in Riga.
The reigning champions are Spain, who beat France in the EuroBasket 2022 final in Berlin.
