BELGRADE - Rasim Ljajic was on Monday elected president of an interim authority at Serbian football club Partizan Belgrade, the club Assembly announced after a meeting.
After the session, Ljajic said the body, to be in charge of the club in the coming period, would include former Partizan players Predrag Mijatovic and Danko Lazovic, entrepreneurs Milka Forcan, Vojislav Lazarevic and Boban Stanojevic and lawyer Dragan Milovanovic.
Club President Milorad Vucelic and Director-General Milos Vazura, the members of the Board of Directors and all members of the Assembly were relieved of their positions at the session.
"A difficult financial consolidation of the club is ahead of us. That is why enterpreneurs are here, and a lawyer is also here to deal with institutional problems," Ljajic said, particularly thanking Mijatovic, a club legend, for returning to Partizan.
