BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has received a New Year and Christmas greeting card from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I extend to you my heartfelt greetings for the upcoming holidays - the New Year and Orthodox Christmas," Putin's greeting card read.
"In the year that is about to end, Russian-Serbian relations, based on the age-old traditions of friendship and spiritual closeness, developed successfully in various spheres within a strategic partnership," Putin noted.
"I am confident that we will continue our active joint work on current affairs on the bilateral and international agenda to the benefit of the brotherly nations of our countries. I wish good health, happiness and success to you, your family and those closest to you, and peace and prosperity to all citizens of Serbia," Putin concluded.
