Darko Glisic, a senior official of the Serbian Progressive Party, said on Feb. 28 that talks on a new Serbian government would be initiated once the resignation of the current one was noted. As a reminder, Prime Minister Milos Vucevic resigned on Jan. 28.

Glisic told Pink TV that the prime minister's resignation would be noted sometime in March, after which a new cabinet would be elected, i.e. a new prime minister-designate chosen.
"Or maybe we will go for a new election, which has not been ruled out as an option either, so we'll see," said Glisic, who is also the public investment minister.

When asked about the upcoming March 4 parliament session, where the prime minister's resignation is to be acknowledged, Glisic said, "I expect a rampage."

"Of course I expect a rampage, I expect a whole host of stupid and vulgar things, for [the opposition] to fully reveal its true colors," he said.
