Petkovic's meeting with Lajcak concludes in Brussels

BRUSSELS - A meeting of Belgrade's delegation headed by the director of the government Office for Kosovo-Metohija, Petar Petkovic, and the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak concluded in Brussels around noon.

Lajcak is now due to meet with Pristina's delegation.

It remains unknown whether a trilateral meeting will take place in this round of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, held at chief negotiators level.

European Commission spokesman Peter Stano said on Wednesday the need to "urgently start with the implementation of the Ohrid Agreement" as well as the need for both parties to "finally be able to agree on progress in the dialogue" would be on the agenda.

The chief negotiators last met with Lajcak in Brussels on September 17, but no trilateral meeting was held at the time.
