Mali: To date, 55 countries have confirmed their participation at EXPO 2027

BELGRADE - Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Friday that, to date, 55 countries had officially confirmed their participation at EXPO 2027 in Belgrade.

"We expect that number to continue to grow and that we will exceed the number from the last specialised EXPO in Astana, which had 117 participants," Mali wrote in an Instagram post.

Countries around the world continue to confirm their participation at the specialised EXPO 2027 and the latest confirmations come from China, Azerbaijan, Malta, Micronesia, Burundi and DR Congo, Mali added.

For Serbia, EXPO 2027 means further progress and development, he noted.

"It means prestige, a good international reputation. EXPO means innovation, development of science, technology, the creative industries, tourism and economic growth and, most importantly of all, it means the future and an even better tomorrow for all our citizens," Mali wrote in the post.
