BRUSSELS - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak said on Wednesday he had briefed the North Atlantic Council on developments in the dialogue and noted the significance of EU-NATO cooperation for regional stability.
In a post on X, Lajcak wrote that he had had a "valuable discussion" with NATO Deputy Secretary-General Radmila Sekerinska and all ambassadors.
"Briefed the North Atlantic Council on developments in the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue. Stressed the importance of our excellent EU-NATO cooperation for regional stability. Thanks to NATO Deputy Secretary General Sekerinska and all Ambassadors for a valuable discussion and Slovak Ambassador Marek Varga for inviting," Lajcak wrote in the post.
Lajcak is due to host a meeting of the chief negotiators of Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels next week.
European Commission Spokesperson Anitta Hipper has told Tanjug the meeting would address a series of issues, including implementation of an agreement on the path to normalisation of relations.
