LUXEMBOURG - Serbian FM Marko Djuric said on Sunday he had had a constructive and important meeting with EU foreign policy and security chief Kaja Kallas in Luxembourg.
"I had a constructive and important meeting with Kaja Kallas in Luxembourg about Serbia's path to the EU and about our country's contribution to maintaining peace and stability in the region," Djuric wrote in a post on X.
He added that the Serbian government had demonstrated a strong commitment to a European future by being a responsible and dependable partner of the EU for more than a decade while firmly aligning with common European values.
"For that reason, we hope that these consistent efforts will soon be acknowledged by opening new clusters," Djuric noted.
At Kallas's invitation, Djuric attended an informal working dinner for Western Balkan FMs ahead of a meeting of the EU Council on Foreign Affairs.
