RIGA - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics in Riga on Tuesday.
At the meeting, it was reiterated and confirmed that Serbia would open an embassy in Latvia.
"Serbia wants to boost its diplomatic presence in the Baltic states and we have decided to open an embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Riga. We discussed bilateral relations between our two countries and various possibilities for advancing them in many areas," Brnabic said.
She said she had conveyed to Rinkevics Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's cordial greetings and an invitation to visit Serbia.
Brnabic concluded the visit to Latvia with a tour of a tech hub.
