BELGRADE - Serbia's caretaker PM Milos Vucevic reiterated an appeal to the organisers of Saturday's protest in Belgrade to avoid, at all costs, a scenario of clashes and noted that he was especially concerned over a call to, and preparations for, a terrorist act, as heard in footage aired on Thursday evening.
"My desire is to make another appeal as PM to all participants, the organisers, to those who have essentially organised the gathering without registering it, to avoid, at all costs, a scenario of clashes, attacks on institutions, demolition of property and attacks on other people. That is the obligation and the responsibility of all participants," Vucevic said at a press conference in the government building.
Expressing the hope there would be "sufficient sense tomorrow," Vucevic said the protest must not be allowed to go in the wrong direction and result in scenes in Serbia that "no one wants."
