Macut meets with Djokic, discussions to be continued Wednesday

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut met with University of Belgrade Rector Vladan Djokic on Tuesday.

They agreed to continue discussions as early as on Wednesday.

"It was concluded at the meeting that the discussions will be continued in a constructive atmosphere with the aim of full normalisation of the work of the University of Belgrade," the government said in a statement.

The meeting in the government building was held at Macut's invitation in an "open and constructive" atmosphere, the statement said.

It was also attended by Education Minister Dejan Vuk Stankovic and Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Bela Balint.
