BRISBANE - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic is through to the second round of the Brisbane ATP tournament after defeating world number 63 Arthur Cazaux 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday.
Lucky loser Lajovic, who ranks 81st in the ATP rankings, won after an hour and 42 minutes of play.
He will next face Czech Jakub Mensik, who defeated Kazakhstan's Mikhail Kukushkin 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 in the opening round.
The prize money in Brisbane is 766,290 US dollars.
