Djuric meets with members of Dutch parliamentary committee on European affairs

THE HAGUE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric met with members of the Dutch parliamentary committee on European affairs in The Hague on Tuesday.

In the morning, on the second day of his visit to the Netherlands, Djuric also met with Dutch businesspeople, noting that Serbia was open to investments and that it had attracted over 60 pct of all FDI in the Balkans in the past five years.

At a meeting with the Secretary General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law Christophe Bernasconi, Djuric said that, in a principled manner, Serbia remained committed to respect of the fundamental principles of international law when it comes to creating and conducting its foreign policy.

Speaking about the situation in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija, Djuric told Bernasconi that, for several years now, there had been no progress in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and that the EU must have a stronger presence in the process so that stability could be ensured.
