Djokovic announces he will miss ATP Finals in Turin

BELGRADE - Serbia's top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic announced on Tuesday he would miss the ATP Finals in Turin due to an injury problem.

“It’s quite an honor to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. I was really looking forward to being there, but due to ongoing injury I won’t be playing next week," Djokovic wrote in an Instagram post.

"Apologies to those who were planning to see me. Wishing all the players a great tournament. See you soon!" he added.

Djokovic, a seven-time ATP Finals champion, last won the tournament in 2023, when he defeated Italian Jannik Sinner 6-3, 6-3 in the final in Turin.

The prize money at the November 10-17 ATP Finals is 15,250,000 dollars.
