BELGRADE - Srbijgas CEO Dusan Bajatovic said on Friday he expected US sanctions on Serbia's majority Russian-owned oil company NIS to be suspended for another 30 to 90 days.
"We will most likely get another suspension for 30, 60 or even 90 days. Tomorrow morning, at 6 am, we will know everything. The final discussions between NIS attorneys and the Serbian government will take place today. As you know, in a letter to the US administration, the Government of Serbia has backed a NIS request for another suspension of the implementation of sanctions," Bajatovic told the RTS.
He also said all crude stocks were filled to capacity and that oil derivatives would continue to be available at petrol stations regardless of what the US decision would be.
