BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday evening that, in the Kosovo-Metohija elections earlier in the day, Srpska lista had won all 10 seats allocated for Serbs in the assembly of the Pristina provisional authorities.
Congratulating the Kosovo-Metohija Serbs, Vucic said the electoral result was almost incredible, especially considering all that Pristina's PM Albin Kurti had done to destroy the Serb population and Srpska lista and considering what many foreigners had been doing to destroy the largest Serb party in the province by helping all its opponents secretly as well as publicly.
"I congratulate everyone in Srpska lista, I congratulate our people and I am endlessly grateful to them," Vucic said in a video posted on Instagram.
"Not including Srbica and internally displaced persons, Srpska lista won 38,533 votes and the party that follows won 3,217 votes, which makes it quite clear that Srpska lista will undoubtedly win all 10 seats and that it will be a barrier to further attacks by Kurti, and I am afraid that Kurti, who until yesterday here was celebrating our toppling in Belgrade, will have to worry much more about himself and about staying in power," he said.
"All I can say to you is: Kosovo is Serbia and I love you endlessly," Vucic said in a message to Kosovo-Metohija Serbs.
