KANJIZA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday he was almost certain student protesters in Serbia would reject a call by European Parliament rapporteur for Serbia Tonino Picula to come out with political demands.
"It looks like the Croat has decided to take control of ProGlas and everyone else, and it seems that he wants to be giving orders to students, too. I am almost certain the students will not listen to him. The hard-working, diligent Serbia will win," Vucic told reporters in the Velebit village near Kanjiza, during a visit to the North Banat District.
Earlier, in an interview with Radio Free Europe, Picula said the "student and civic movement in Serbia" needed "political articulation, which, for now, is not coming."
