Along the coast in Malibu, many homes and infrastructure were ravaged by the flames.

Los Angeles County authorities said that the Eaton fire, near Pasadena, has consumed over 4,000 to 5,000 structures, including vehicles.

The government has not yet provided estimates on the financial cost of the damage or specific details on the number of structures destroyed.
