Students from all over Serbia are heading to Belgrade for a major protest against President Vučić, sparked by the deadly Novi Sad awning collapse in November.
Groups of students from across Serbia are marching toward Belgrade for what could be the largest protest in modern Serbian history, set for Saturday, March 15.
The protests, led by university students, began after a concrete structure collapsed at a Novi Sad railway station in November, killing 15 people. Almost daily rallies have since shaken the populist rule of President Aleksandar Vučić.
Students and high school graduates are travelling on foot and by bicycle to join others in a united demonstration.
The protest signals growing student-led activism across Serbia.
