BELGRADE - The Serbian average net monthly wage in January was 107,476 dinars, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.
The average gross wage was 148,440 dinars.
The median net wage in January was 83,031 dinars, meaning that 50 pct of the employed population received wages up to that amount.
Year-on-year, the January average gross and net wages were up by 12.1 pct in nominal terms and by 7.2 pct in real terms.
Relative to December 2024, the January average gross wage was steady in nominal terms and down by 0.6 pct in real terms, while the average net wage was down by 0.8 pct in nominal terms and by 1.4 pct in real terms.
