Protest at Education Ministry

The teachers of schools in Belgrade gathered in front of the Ministry of Education to protest on Feb. 6, announcing that they would present a letter with the demands they wished to discuss to Minister Slavica Djukic Dejanovic.

The speakers at the protest declared that they demanded a stop to threats and pressures, that there are no penalties on the salaries of striking teachers and an end to the overburdening of teachers with administrative tasks.

The protesting teachers carried banners reading “Students with Teachers,” “Teachers with Students,” “Be The Change You Want to See” and “For Rule of Law And Justice.”
