Greens-EFA Voices Support for Serbia’s Student Protests

EMPs of the Greens-European Free Alliance have voiced their support for the massive public protests in Serbia, calling them “an outcry for justice in a country ravaged by corruption, media restrictions & opponents’ repression.”

“People in Serbia deserve truth and accountability. Europe hears you & supports you!” the Alliance wrote in a Jan. 28 post on X.

“We stand with the Serbian citizens protesting!” the post further reads and includes a photo from the rallies blended with the bold printed message: “Serbians, we hear you.”

The Greens-EFA holds 53 seats in the European Parliament.
