Dozens reportedly injured by Russian drone attacks across Ukraine

At least one person was killed and dozens more injured by Russian attacks across Ukraine, local media reported on Wednesday.

Seventeen people were reportedly injured after Russia launched a drone attack against the Dnipro region, with houses, high-rise buildings, cars and administrative buildings damaged, according to regional Governor Serhii Lysak.

At least eight people were hospitalised, with Ukrainian authorities saying most were in a moderate condition.

A Russian strike also hit the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region in the early hours of Wednesday, local officials said.

Three members of the same family were reportedly injured following a drone strike which damaged a residential building. Among the injured was an 11-year-old girl.

Russia launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv on Tuesday evening, causing multiple fires and injuring at least two people, according to local officials.

Drones hit civilian businesses, warehouses, industrial facilities and service stations.

Kharkiv governor Oleh Syniehubov said waves of Shahed-type drones caused at least 15 explosions in the city, killing at least one person and injuring seven others.

Others were injured in the Ukrainian regions of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.

The Ukrainian Air Force said they shot down 32 of 55 attack and decoy drones launched by Russia overnight.
