BELGRADE - Mass support for Srpska lista in Sunday's elections in Kosovo-Metohija shows that Serbs in the province have not been broken down by years of terror by the Albin Kurti regime and that they are ready and willing to continue their just fight for dignified life, Serbian FM Marko Djuric said on Monday.
In a post on X, Djuric wrote that the "excellent result for Srpska lista will enable Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija to articulate their will politically and fight for their human rights using all available democratic means."
"I am certain that enormous further efforts will be made to politically disunite and intimidate the Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija, but Srpska lista will be a fortress of Serbdom and a consistent and unwavering fighter for dialogue and peaceful coexistence, and it will also have Belgrade's firm support in that," Djuric noted.
Congratulating "the brothers and sisters in Kosovo-Metohija" on a major historic victory, Djuric wished them that they may keep winning in harmony and unity.
Srpska lista leader Zlatan Elek said on Sunday evening Srpska lista was the absolute winner of the elections for Pristina's assembly after winning all 10 seats allocated for Serbs in the province.
