CLUJ-NAPOCA - Serbian tennis player Olga Danilovic is through to the second round of the Cluj-Napoca WTA tournament after defeating American Alycia Parks 6-3, 6-3 in the opening round on Tuesday.
Danilovic won after an hour and 32 minutes of play.
World number 41 Danilovic is now 2-0 head-to-head against Parks, who is 90th in the WTA rankings.
The Serbian will next face Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, who defeated Egyptian Mayar Sherif in the first round.
The prize money in Cluj-Napoca is 275,094 dollars.
